About the Phu Quoc Woven Hyacinth Buffalo Horn Tote Bag
Earthy and effortlessly-chic, this Phu Quoc Woven Hyacinth Buffalo Horn Tote Bag by Hathorway features beautiful circular handles made of ethically-sourced buffalo horns with lining made of 100% natural-colored cotton. The tote is made of handwoven water hyacinth, which is an aquatic plant that grows fast and strong in the rivers of northern Vietnam. These plants are harvested and dried to become long lasting fibers that are woven into this beautiful timeless tote bag. Because of all the natural material, all of our Phu Quoc tote bags will be slightly different in colors and patterns. It's the perfect tote bag for your weekend farmer's market trips, a day at the beach, or for your everyday work bag as it can fit your laptop. About Hathorway
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Hathorway is an eco-conscious accessories brand defined by geometrical, yet minimalistic silhouettes. Every piece is designed by designer Jessica Phan, who wanted to reconnect with her Vietnamese heritage by preserving a 400-year-old craftsmanship which uses ethically-sourced buffalo horns, a material—like leather—that has been discarded from deadstock and the food industry in Vietnam. As an organic material, every piece will be completely one of a kind, each possessing its own exquisite colors and patterns. Hathorway is short for Hathor, the Egyptian goddess of love and beauty, known for her iconic headdress made of cow horns.
